About the role
This role is for a Test Technician IV position located at 3414 S 5th St, BLDG 1 in Phoenix, AZ. The role is full-time and requires a U.S. security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Follow and offer suggestions for improvement to Health and Safety guidelines ensuring a safe work environment
- Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures
- Set up and operate various test stands
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain test equipment
- Interpret and record test results
- Recognize and isolate test equipment failures
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level
- Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics
- Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
- Work alone and as a member of a team to ensure production and quality goals are met
- Participate in formal and informal continuous improvement efforts and projects
Qualifications
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical data
- Prior experience with component level troubleshooting
- Working computer skills and knowledge of office software applications
- Electrical Technician Certification
- Certification in Electronics
