Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Qualification and Testing: Practical usage of tools and simulated usage of harbor freight customer on test fixtures.
- Assist in Using and Setting Up Test Equipment.
- Assist in Monitoring and Testing Samples.
- Assist Product Specialist in Testing and Build Fixtures.
- Become Autonomous in Testing and Fixture Building for Own Assignments.
- Conduct Written Test Reports from Beginning to Completion in a Web Based Software Program (Platypus).
- Participate in Analytical Review of New or Revised Parts, Materials, and Products; Including Pareto Charts and Excel Graphs.
- Prepare for Product Review to Include Setup of Product, Customer Web Reviews, and 1 Pager of Sales and Returns Data.
- Maintain/Cleanliness of Lab.
- Occasional Overtime Required.
Qualifications
Learn to Properly Utilize All Test Equipment in the Lab.
Complete All Stages of Product Testing and Qualification Utilizing Documented Test Methods.
Skills
Electronic Testing Equipment.
Small Motor Dynamometer.
Environmental Chambers.
Hardness Tester.
General Hand Tools.
Web Based Software Program (Platypus).
