Test Technician II

Responsibilities

• Accurately troubleshoot assembly or system-level failures to the component level for repair.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to gain further knowledge of functionality.
• Provide break-fix support for test equipment.
• Utilize tools to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.
• Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of full product processes and specifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, schematics, electronics, troubleshooting, multimeters, and network analyzers.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers (2 plus years of experience).
• Ability to track bugs and defects and develop solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any software programming experience is considered a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
