Test Technician II (2nd Shift)

About the role

This position supports BAE Systems Electronic Systems, working on the world’s most advanced electronics and solving aerospace and defense challenges. The role is performed full‑time on site at a BAE Systems facility, requiring consistent in‑person collaboration. Responsibilities

• Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
• Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
• Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed.
• Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
• Corrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed.
• Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic hand tools and torque tools experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other basic computer operations
• Active Secret clearance
• Electronic degree or equivalent
• 2 or more years of relevant experience

Skills

Hand and small power tool operation, measurement and testing equipment use, test setup and execution, equipment assembly and calibration, troubleshooting and repair, quality monitoring.

Pay

Full‑time salary range: $47,614 – $76,181. A 10% pay premium applies for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM).

Schedule

2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM (4/10 work week); every Friday off.
