About the role
Collins Aerospace is seeking talented technicians to support the assembly and testing of critical electronic components. The role involves contributing to the quality and reliability of products through hands-on work, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Test electronic components, adhering to blueprints, guidelines, and part-specific procedures to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze assemblies at the component level, documenting results, and maintaining test equipment as necessary.
- Use hand/machine tools, measuring devices, and electronic/manual test equipment safely and effectively.
- Support production schedules, meet deadlines, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (ACE).
- Follow safety, quality, and hazardous waste procedures at all times.
- Use computer tools such as SAP and follow work instructions.
- Train others, interface with cross-functional teams, and proactively resolve production or process issues.
- Maintain a clean, efficient work environment, request tools and supplies as needed, and contribute to waste minimization and audit activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- A.S. in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, & Spectrum Analyzer.
- Basic component level troubleshooting experience.
