About the role
This position is 100% onsite. The Marvin Group is a Strategic Partner for Global Alternate Mission Equipment and Sustainment.
Responsibilities
- Perform tests on multiple product lines.
- In-depth troubleshooting, problem resolution across multiple products, ability to guide others in issue resolution.
- Ensure accuracy of records, ability to improve test procedures, initiation of ECRs, mentoring documentation practices.
- Train peers, certify training, onboarding effectiveness.
- Calibration, minor repairs, fabrication/modification of test hardware, preventive maintenance.
- Facilitation of huddles, delegation, communication of priorities, team influence.
- Support qual/ATP, provide structured engineering feedback.
- Contributions to FOD/6S, process improvements, safety leadership.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- 5+ years’ experience in a related field
- A good working knowledge of typical lab instrumentation, lab test equipment, proper testing techniques, and safety awareness
- Familiarity with ESD practices
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong team player able to interface with multiple groups
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions (test procedures)
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Maintain awareness and understanding of documents in the BMS Library
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- U.S. Citizen
Skills
- Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- Experience with pressure testing (highly preferred)
- Experience working within an SAP ERP environment
