About the role

The Test Technician 3 supports and improves manufacturing test processes, troubleshoots products and equipment, and ensures quality standards are met. This role collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams to maintain reliable testing operations, support new product introductions, and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and support test and burn-in equipment used in manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot and repair test equipment, systems, and products to minimize downtime.
  • Perform software loading, firmware updates, and system configuration activities.
  • Conduct product testing, verification, and diagnostics to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Review test results and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate repairs when equipment issues occur.
  • Aid with new product introductions, test program development, and equipment implementation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hardware, software, and network-related issues on production units.
  • Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Document failures, track recurring issues, and support corrective action activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Military Technical Training, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics testing, troubleshooting, or related technical fields.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with electronic systems, hardware, software, and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with firmware updates, system configuration, and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay

  • $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
