About the role
This hands-on role supports the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, inspect, and troubleshoot aerospace components and systems
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical work instructions
- Support prototype development, product validation, and production activities
- Perform system checkouts, data collection, and documentation of results
Requirements
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Reading engineering drawings and schematics
- Electronics, wiring, and system integration
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Quality inspection and testing
- Use of hand tools, measurement devices, and test equipment
- Attention to detail and technical documentation
Skills
- Aerospace, aviation, defense, or manufacturing background
- Electronics, automotive, maintenance, or skilled trades background
- Military technical experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, AL.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
