About the role
The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
- Document test procedures and results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
- Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate's Degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training).
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment.
- Experience with testing equipment and software.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment, and technical procedures.
Benefits
This is a 2nd shift, onsite position. Training will take place on 1st shift for 6-8 weeks.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $43,400 - $82,600 USD.
