Test Systems Software Co-op - Fall 2026 - ELSYS
About the role
The Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) within the Test Engineering Division (TEN) of GTRI is seeking a Co-op Student for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug Windows software, embedded systems software, or web technologies for electronic warfare or radar systems test applications
- Conduct testing of Windows application software, embedded systems software, or web technologies
- Develop software test tools
- Aid in conducting trade studies, writing technical reports, and performing tests
Requirements
- Co-op pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Eligible to participate in a co-op program and register for co-op credit with their university during work terms
- Must be able to complete at least three full-time co-op terms prior to graduation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in more than one programming language
- Automated testing experience
- Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
- Configuration management tools
- Clear communication of technical ideas
Hours per Week
40 hours per week
Citizenship Requirements
Due to research contracts with the US federal government, candidates must be US citizens.
