Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional experience developing complex LabVIEW applications for test and measurement, including the creation of reusable VIs, use of the LabVIEW Architecture Framework (or equivalent design patterns), and ability to script test-automation sequences within the LabVIEW environment.
- Proficiency in at least one text-based programming language (e.g., Python, C#, C++) to complement LabVIEW work for auxiliary tasks such as data post-processing, instrument driver creation, or CI/CD automation.
- Ability to interpret and work from hardware schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with version-control systems (Git, SVN) and configuration-management best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team environment.
- A proactive, “hungry-to-learn” attitude and willingness to acquire new skills on the job.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Software Developer with deep expertise in LabVIEW to join a tight-knit team that builds and maintains an automated test suite for a family of tactical-system emulators. The developer will design, implement, and evolve modular LabVIEW applications that mimic complex operational environments, enabling rigorous, repeatable testing of frequently updated firmware/software under test (UUT). The role demands strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced, high-visibility program.

Desired Skills
- Demonstrated experience integrating software modules into automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, test-case design, and verification/validation processes.
- Hands-on experience with Jira (or a similar issue-tracking tool) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols and data exchange formats (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, JSON, XML) commonly used in tactical system emulation.
