Test - Store & Dock Attendant

Grand Home Furnishings is hiring a Store and Dock Attendant to help keep our store dock and showroom running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving of merchandise, checking the bill of lading for accuracy and inspecting items for damage
• Unload merchandise into the dock area, tag items with the correct SKU, and complete accurate receiving paperwork
• Place furniture in the store display and rearrange displays as directed by the Display Coordinator or Store management
• Pull items from display per pick/pack lists, wrap and box furniture as needed, and load trucks with care to prevent damage
• Assist with customer pickups, loading items into customer vehicles per their instructions
• Maintain a clean parking lot, grounds, and store entrance, and assist with deliveries to customers' homes as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to follow specific instructions and pay close attention to detail required
• Good oral and written communication skills required
• Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture required
• Valid driver's license required, with the ability to drive and operate a box truck as needed

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience and performance.
