Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM. Some overtime may be required.
Pay
Starting wage: $32.26 per hour plus a $2.30 shift differential for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Connect and operate test stand unit and adjust controls as necessary to meet specifications.
- Locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltage.
- Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly.
- Use computer test software effectively.
- Complete required test documentation in a timely manner.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Communicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisors.
- Use specialized and basic tools necessary to complete the test process.
- Train new members on machines, procedures, safe work practices, and pertinent safety, quality, and production items.
- Maintain the 5S program to ensure a clean work area.
- Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice, and company safety manual requirements.
- Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
- Use hand tools and operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for the majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
- Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- High School Education/GED OR minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- 2-year trade school certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by the company (preferred).
- Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
