Primary Responsibilities
- Tests function of electronic assemblies/Sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts according to established procedures.
- Tests electronics products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms and static/dynamic stress chambers.
- Determines if the designated products pass all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure. Notifies the appropriate statistical process control system.
- Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components. Inspect products for any physical damage or contamination.
- Places the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass test.
- Reviews production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
- Records data required for statistical process control of inventory management.
- Perform sequential shutdown including the cleaning of the automated equipment of peripheral hardware.
- Communicate any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors and or engineers.
Qualifications
- Typically required 2 year related experience.
- Demonstrate basic manufacturing line knowledge and participate in process.
- Successful completion of company provided training may be required.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pound.
- Ability to stand in an eight-hour work shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks.
