Test Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Test Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine testing of current transformers (CT) as well as tightness testing (gas leak chambers) of circuit breakers, and Dielectric testing in the High Voltage lab to ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and testing requirements. This role requires attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Current Transformer (CT) Testing: Perform current transformer tests measuring Hi-pot, ratios, and additional testing as needed following the requirements of the approved Inspection and Test Plans (PIT) using appropriate equipment and apparatus, Manuals and Standards. Troubleshooting and communication of failures including Quality Concern Reports (QCRs)
• Gas Tightness Testing: Perform gas tightness testing on circuit breakers following the requirements of the approved Inspection and Test Plans (PIT) using appropriate equipment and apparatus, Manuals and Standards. Troubleshooting and locate any leaks and then communication of failures including Quality Concern Reports (QCRs)
• High Voltage Dielectric Testing: Perform high voltage dielectric testing on circuit
