We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must extract content from posting. First, identify sections: - About the role: description of division, group, mission, etc. Could be "What You Will Do" and description of V-Division, V-21, teams, role. So we can put that under About the role. - Responsibilities: bullet list of duties: develop, plan, execute, analyze experiments; work with interdisciplinary teams; define test objectives; coordinate resources; evaluate technical requirements; execute complex tests; communicate results; etc. Also R&D Engineer 2 and 3 specifics. - Requirements: Minimum Job Requirements (communication skills, leadership skills, etc.) plus Additional Job Requirements for R&D Engineer 3. - Qualifications: Education/Experience at lower level and higher level; Desired Qualifications. - Skills: maybe combine communication, leadership, technical, etc. But we can separate. - Benefits: listed benefits package. - Pay: salary ranges for R&D Engineer 2 and 3. - Schedule: maybe mention flexible schedules and time off (PTO and holidays) under benefits; but schedule specifics not given. There's "Flexible schedules and time off (PTO and holidays)" under benefits. No explicit schedule like full-time, shift. So we may not include Schedule section unless there is real content. The posting mentions "Flexible schedules and time off (PTO and holidays)" which is schedule-related but under benefits. Could still include Schedule section with that content? The instruction: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it. The posting does mention flexible schedules and time off. That's schedule info. So we could include Schedule section with that bullet. But we must avoid duplication: if we put flexible schedules under Benefits, we shouldn't duplicate. Better to put schedule info under Schedule section, and benefits other items under Benefits. Let's parse. Posting sections: "What You Will Do" paragraph: description of division, group, mission, role. Then bullet-like paragraphs: "As a Test Lead/Device Engineer, you will help develop, plan, execute, and analyze experiments..." etc. Then "R&D Engineer 2 $106,400 - $176,000" with description. Then "R&D Engineer 3 $128,000 - $215,900" with description. Then "What You Need" with Minimum Job Requirements: Communication Skills, Leadership Skills. Then "Additional Job Requirements for R&D Engineer 3:" bullet. Then "Education/Experience at lower level:" etc. Then "Education/Experience at higher level:" etc. Then "Desired Qualifications:" list. Then "Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management." Then "Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position is 1 year." Then "Note to Applicants: ..." (citizenship restrictions) - this is boilerplate? It's a legal restriction; maybe we should remove as per instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This is a legal restriction about citizenship; likely considered legal boilerplate. Should remove. Then "Where You Will Work" paragraph about LANL. Then "Our generous benefits package includes:" list. Then "Additional Details Directive 206.2 ..." (legal) - remove. Then "Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level)." etc - legal/clearance info maybe not boilerplate? It's about clearance requirement; could be considered relevant. But instruction says remove legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. Clearance is not exactly EEO; it's a job requirement. Might keep as part of Requirements or Qualifications? It says "Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation...". This is a requirement. Could be included under Requirements. Then "New-Employment Drug Test:" etc - legal/boilerplate? Might be considered legal; but it's a requirement. Could keep under Requirements. Then "Equal Opportunity:" etc - remove. Then "To request such an accommodation..." - remove. Thus we need to keep substantive info: role description, responsibilities, requirements (communication, leadership, education/experience, clearance, drug test, position commitment), qualifications (desired), benefits, pay, schedule (flexible schedules), work location maybe under About the role or separate? Could be part of About the role. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We must output only HTML fragment. Let's structure:

About the role

... description of V-Division, V-21, teams, role as Test Lead/Device Engineer ...

Responsibilities

  • Help develop, plan, execute, and analyze experiments that provide essential data supporting the nation's nuclear deterrent.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to define test objectives, coordinate resources, evaluate technical requirements, execute complex tests, and communicate results to customers and stakeholders.
  • At the R&D Engineer 2 level: function in the test lead role in support of a development, qualification, or surveillance test for LANL systems groups or other nuclear security enterprise partners; interface regularly with customer; plan and schedule work in support of test goals; participate in test execution; prepare test evidence in the form of data packages and final reports.
  • At the R&D Engineer 3 level: provide technical leadership and mentorship to other test leads on the team; interface with customers to engage in strategic planning for future tests; develop budget estimates, project and program schedules, and deliver regular status, schedule, and/or budget reports to customers; work largely independently and provide mentorship to staff newer to the test lead role.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills: experience communicating effectively with customers (oral and written) – schedule communication, project/program status updates, spending/budget reports; authoring and publishing formal test related documents (test requirements, test plan, test reports) and/or peer‑reviewed publications; ability to explain technical ideas to employees of all experience levels.
  • Leadership Skills: experience designing experiments or projects leveraging principles of the scientific method; demonstrated experience in test execution; demonstrated experience interfacing with and integrating efforts of interdisciplinary teams to achieve program milestones and deliverable due dates; ability to effectively manage and understand technical details over a large range of STEM fields.
  • Education/Experience (lower level): Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution and 4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination.
  • Education/Experience (higher level): Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution and 6 years of related experience; or equivalent combination; a Ph.D. may be preferred.
  • Clearance: Q clearance required (position will be cleared to this level); selected applicants subject to background investigation; U.S. citizenship required except in extremely rare circumstances.
  • New‑Employment Drug Test: successful applicants must complete a drug test; marijuana use prohibited under federal law and will result in termination.
  • Position commitment: 1‑year continuous service requirement for regular appointment employees.

Qualifications

  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with LANL design agency quality (DAQ) policy documents.
    • Experience in development of complex systems and knowledge of the system engineering process, including model‑based system engineering (MBSE).
    • Experience working with or around hazardous materials, including participation in development or authorship of safety bases.
    • Experience mentoring new and/or junior staff or students.
    • Active Q clearance.
    • Experience reviewing/approving engineering drawings with focus on GD&T.
But we already listed Q clearance under Requirements; maybe we should not duplicate. Could keep desired qualifications separate without Q clearance. However the posting lists "Active Q clearance" under Desired Qualifications. We'll keep it there. We need to avoid duplicate content; but it's okay if same info appears in two places? Might be considered duplication. Better to keep Q clearance under Requirements (as mandatory) and not repeat under Desired Qualifications. But the posting lists it under Desired Qualifications; we could still include it there but note it's also required. However to avoid duplication, we could keep it only under Requirements and not list under Desired Qualifications. But the instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we omit the "Active Q clearance" from Desired Qualifications, we are omitting a piece of info that appears there. However we already have it under Requirements; that might be considered preserving the info (just placed elsewhere). The instruction about duplication: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." Duplicated lines: we should not duplicate the same line. If we include Q clearance in both sections, that's duplication. So better to include it only once. Where does it belong more naturally? It's a requirement (clearance). So put under Requirements and omit from Desired Qualifications. Thus Desired Qualifications list without Q clearance. Now Benefits:

Benefits

  • PPO or High‑Deductible medical insurance with same large nationwide network
  • Dental and Vision insurance
  • Free basic life and disability insurance
  • Paid childbirth and parental leave
  • Award‑winning 401(k) (6% matching plus 3.5% annually)
  • Learning opportunities and tuition assistance
  • Flexible schedules and time off (PTO and holidays)
  • Onsite gyms and wellness programs
  • Extensive relocation packages (outside a 50‑mile radius)
But note flexible schedules and time off is also schedule info. We could move that to Schedule section and remove from Benefits. However the instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. If we move schedule to its own section, we add a section. Could keep it under Benefits as it's part of benefits. The schedule info is not a separate schedule like shift pattern; it's flexible schedules and time off. So we can keep under Benefits and not create Schedule section. The instruction says include Schedule section only if posting actually states them. It does state flexible schedules and time off, but that's under benefits. Could still make a Schedule section with that content, but then we would duplicate. Better to keep under Benefits and not create Schedule section. Pay section:

Pay

  • R&D Engineer 2: $106,400 – $176,000
  • R&D Engineer 3: $128,000 – $215,900
We could also include the description of what each level entails under Responsibilities already. Now About the role content: need to capture the description of division, group, mission, role. Let's craft a concise paragraph preserving all substantive info. From posting: "The Weapons Engineering Verification and Validation Division (V-Division) ensures that weapon designs meet all requirements and perform as intended. The division verifies design compliance and validates performance through a combination of investigations, qualification tests, and evaluations. This mission is accomplished through close collaboration with organizations across the Weapons Engineering Directorate and the broader Nuclear Security Enterprise. V-Division carries out its work through assembly, non-destructive evaluation, test design and planning, test execution
