Test & Evaluation Engineer
About the role
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the GMD Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs for the Missile Defense Agency. In this role, you will be responsible for the integration and test of GMD products and be positioned to support the customer to execute critical testing in different lab environments on the System Integration Test and Readiness (SITR) contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide Integration and Execution Support to Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs
- Participate in integration activities and implementation of the System Under Test (SUT) to support test execution activities
- Work with a team of engineers, system administrators, network engineers, console operators, subject matter experts, and subcontractors to coordinate all phases of integration, test, checkout, and verification
- Develop, review, and release Test Plans and Procedures required for test execution
- Utilize basic engineering troubleshooting skills and configuration management best practices
- Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions
- Develop, Review, and Release of Post-Test Documentation
- Support relevant meetings, reviews, briefings, and working groups
- Work in a rapid-paced team environment
Qualifications
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
- Typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
- Understanding of test requirements and test objectives
- Experience integrating multiple complex components into a system-level architecture
- Experience documenting and trouble-shooting hardware and/or software anomalies
- Experience developing and/or executing test procedures for critical software and hardware testing
- Able to work in a collaborative environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Level 2: $70,000 - $100,000
Schedule
This position requires the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)
