Test Engineer - Space Systems Communications
Quantum Sky is searching for a Test Engineer with strong systems integration experience to support a US Government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
About the role
Oversees engineering activities of the organization's integration efforts for space-based communications systems. The role involves planning, designing, developing, evaluating, executing, and reporting findings from developmental tests of hardware and software components and systems integration.
Responsibilities
- Capture, understand, translate, and document customer requirements.
- Validate implementation of system and product requirements.
- Evaluate programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning, design, function, and execution.
- Identify and recommend troubleshooting and remediation actions to address shortfalls in project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to the position and 15 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- On-site at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM.
Pay
The salary range for this position is typically between $140,000–$160,000. Compensation is based on education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside this range.
