Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for data summary, distribution, and test report authorship.
- Work with internal and external customers to define and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning including acquisition, processing, and analysis to satisfy test objectives.
- Proficient in the use of Logic Analyzers, Software Based Debugging tools, In-Circuit Emulators, RF Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Continually improve processes to address deficiencies and best practices.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test data, test reports, and test procedures.
- Perform data collection and use of reduction tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, Excel.
- Troubleshoot production failures and return units to operations for tests.
- Perform trend analysis of common failures and contribute to corrective actions.
- Present metrics and status to upper management.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 5 years of experience OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
- Experience with using different test equipment, i.e. oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMM, signal generator, power supplies.
- Absolute requirement for an active Secret Clearance to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly to present technical approaches and findings.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction and act as team lead for larger test efforts.
- Experience in writing test plans and test reports.
- Able to present technical data to upper management.
