TEST ENGINEER L4

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters before deployment at the client end.

Responsibilities

• Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
• Author test planning with knowledge of business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.
• Implement Wipro's model-based testing to achieve efficient test generation.
• Ensure test cases are peer-reviewed to minimize rework.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control.
• Set criteria, parameters, and scope/out-scope of testing; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Automate the test lifecycle process using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
• Design and execute the automation framework and reporting.
• Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases/scenarios.
• Ensure test defects are raised according to project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
• Detect bug issues, prepare defect reports, and report test progress.
• Maintain zero instances of rejection or slippage of delivered work items within Wipro/customer SLAs.
• Design and release a test status dashboard at the end of every test execution cycle for stakeholders.
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders.
• Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus regarding testing and execution.
• Ensure high-quality interactions with customers via email, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
• Deliver weekly status reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository on time.
• Update accurate efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
• Respond to customer requests promptly with no instances of complaints internally or externally.

Performance Metrics

• Understanding test requirements and test case design of the product.
• Ensuring error-free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, and automation using VB/macros.
• Testing efficiency and quality, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries within TAT, and CSAT score.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in AI-driven test automation.

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
