JOB SUMMARY
The Test Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/ Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
This position will be filled and work onsite at Amentum Downtown Building Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of engineering software applications characterized by complex functionalities, stringent operational constraints, and sophisticated input/output configurations.
- Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Provide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs.
- Assist in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques.
- Interpret requirements and performing analyses to ensure that objectives are met.
- Collaborate with Agile and Project team(s) to refine Acceptance and Verification Criteria and optimize software/system Test approaches.
- Lead Agile and Project team(s) in the development and implementation of testing strategies for software/systems.
- Attend and participate in Agile and Project meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Integrated Project Teams).
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Clearance Requirements: Secret
- 3 years or more of directly related experience
- 3 years or more of general work experience
- 3 years of experience in software/systems testing and verification, OR 3 years of experience in the ITW/AA mission domain
- BS degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline desired
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies desired
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments desired
- 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems desired

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is performed within a secure, classified workspace. Employees must comply with all applicable security protocols and access control procedures, including restrictions on personal electronic devices and the handling of sensitive information.
Estimated Pay Range
$65,000 - $75,000 USD
