Responsibilities
- Conduct standard and non-standard MIL-STD-810 environmental testing (e.g., storage temperature, operational temperature, humidity, vibration, salt fog, altitude, shock testing).
- Evaluate the survivability of medical equipment in military environments.
- Document test and evaluation results for program decisions.
- Assess medical products or prototypes against specific performance specifications.
- Perform final quality control testing in the last phase of the production line.
- Document areas of noncompliance.
- Conduct comparison testing of candidate medical devices.
- Evaluate devices’ ability to operate in military environments, focusing on factors such as temperature, ruggedness, and weight.
- Perform data analysis using program tools.
- Provide evidence and data to support procurement decisions.
- Develop test and evaluation strategies for products under development.
- Collaborate with IPT members to ensure comprehensive testing and evaluation.
- Perform and/or coordinate repair, calibration, preventive maintenance, and refurbishment of the test facility.
- Ensure the test facility is operational and meets all testing requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards.
- US Citizens only.
- Confidential/Tier III clearance or higher, or ability to receive one.
- Ability to travel - occasional travel may be required to support testing at different locations.
Pay and Benefits
