About the role

BAE Systems is seeking experienced Test Engineers to join our team in Endicott, NY. This role involves developing and supporting production acceptance tests for complex control and power electronics systems. The role requires consistent, in-person collaboration and/or onsite work due to the nature of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Support test technicians with difficult troubleshooting of complex problems.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to test technicians.
  • Perform basic updates or modifications to existing test scripts.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support Test Engineering Manager in planning necessary production test resources to support contract commitments, including coordinating new purchases and repair/maintenance of existing equipment.
  • Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy.
  • Must be self-directed and able to organize workload to maximize efficiency of performing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the candidate acts as an interface with internal and external customers.
  • Candidate must have a flexible schedule and exceptional work ethic to respond to the challenges of a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 2 year technical degree.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a larger team.
  • Self-directed.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BSEE or similar 4 year technical degree.
  • Experience working in a production test environment on military flight controls.
  • Experience working with CsGTI, NI TestStand, Labview, Visual Basic or similar test executives and programming languages utilized in the Test Engineering discipline.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $59023 - $100339
