Test Engineer - eMobility

Job Summary

Eaton’s eMobility Division is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Marshall, Michigan facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document test procedures, profiles, and laboratory reports.
• Support test setup, fixture development, instrumentation, and data acquisition activities.
• Partner with product engineering to translate requirements into effective test methods and setups.
• Execute testing in accordance with approved plans, lab procedures, and safety requirements.
• Analyze test data and communicate results and recommendations to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot test equipment, instrumentation, and setup issues with guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related controls degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an automotive, electrical, mechanical, testing, or engineering environment. Co-op/Intern experience acceptable towards experience. Previous experience supporting an engineering, research, or manufacturing organization.
• Preferred Qualifications: Product Electrical and Mechanical background/experience, Previous experience in Automotive/Vehicle, Aerospace, or Industrial Automation sectors, iTest/CANape/LabVIEW data acquisition and controls experience, Knowledge of Test Lab Equipment typically found in Engineering Product Testing Research Labs, Experience developing and analyzing data acquisition and control systems, Effective communication English skills (verbal, written).

This role requires working on-site M-F at our Marshall, Mi location. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Pay & Schedule

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $90,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
