Test Engineer - Andover, MA

About the role

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer at its Andover, MA facility to support the design, development, and maintenance of test consoles and automated test equipment (ATE) systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production of reliable products that meet customer requirements
• Architect new test stands
• Design test solutions
• Develop algorithms and techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Electrical, Computer, Computer Science or related)
• 1+ years of experience
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and interim secret clearance prior to start
• Experience using Microsoft Office products to generate status reports, project plans, work instructions, etc.
• Experience writing, editing and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW or C)
• Experience in analyzing and resolving problems
• Experience in managing and prioritizing workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in effectively working on teams
• Ability to work with minimal detailed direction to deliver desired results

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional level career experience preferred
• Experience in SAP/MRP systems for production build
• Proficiency with electrical parameter measurements typically required for components and subassemblies
• Proficiency with Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems
• Proficiency in developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments
• Proficiency researching and specifying components for test equipment design
• Proficiency troubleshooting measurement issues and isolating problems down to the test instrument, fixturing, software level or unit under test
• Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists and other types of engineering documentation
• Proficiency in Corrective/Preventative action process and implementation
• Proficiency deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements
• Proficiency reading, understanding and writing change orders to; assembly drawings and parts lists for test equipment and systems
• Experience preparing charts and giving presentations outlining technical issues, solutions or trade studies

Skills
