Test Driver - Company vehicle provided

Project Overview We are looking for experienced and safety-focused Test Drivers to support a road data collection project focused on capturing information about road signs, traffic lights, and other road infrastructure. Drivers will operate a project vehicle along predefined routes and collect high-quality data using specialized equipment installed in the vehicle. Key Responsibilities Drive assigned routes according to the daily schedule and project instructionsCollect data on road signs, traffic lights, road markings, and other relevant road infrastructureOperate and monitor data collection equipment throughout each shiftFollow predefined routes accurately and comply with all project proceduresDrive safely in a variety of weather and road conditions, including:Sunny and low-sun conditionsRain and cloudy weatherFogSnow and snow-covered roads Check equipment and data collection setup before and after each shiftSafely handle and transfer project SSDs and other equipment as requiredSend collected SSDs to the Operations Lead after each shift, following the established project processReport any equipment issues, route deviations, incidents, or data collection problems promptlyMaintain accurate records and follow all safety and operational guidelines Candidate Requirements Mandatory: Valid driver's license and a strong, safe driving record5+ years of driving experienceClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Clean criminal/background checkComfortable driving for extended periods and covering assigned routes independentlyAbility to follow detailed instructions and predefined routesComfortable working with technical equipment and basic digital toolsStrong attention to detail and responsibility for project equipment and collected dataWillingness to drive in varying weather and road conditions, including snowGood communication skills and ability to report issues clearly Weather & Driving Conditions This project requires drivers to operate vehicles in diverse environmental conditions and locations. Depending on the assigned location and weather, driving may include rain, fog, low sun, snow, and snow-covered roads. To support safe winter operations, winter tires and snow chains will be provided where required. Work Environment This is a field-based role involving significant time on the road. Drivers should be comfortable working independently, following daily route assignments, and maintaining consistent data collection quality throughout each shift. Previous experience in ADAS, mapping, autonomous vehicle testing, or other automotive data collection projects is strongly preferred. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
