Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects, bugs, and system issues using test management tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior testers to understand testing requirements.
- Assist in writing and executing test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Learn and utilize industry-standard testing frameworks and automation tools.
- Support UAT efforts by gathering user feedback and validating test results.
- Maintain detailed test documentation to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Conduct API testing, database validation, and performance testing to ensure system stability.
- Utilize test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman) to streamline testing efforts.
- Work closely with developers to ensure early defect detection and rapid issue resolution.
- Assist in CI/CD pipeline testing to support DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Analyze testing results and generate detailed quality assurance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for software quality assurance and test automation.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, or similar) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with test execution, test case design, and defect management.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Strong understanding of API testing, SQL queries, and debugging techniques.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Ability to analyze testing results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
