Duties

  • Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
  • Instruct applicants on testing procedures and starts, observes, times, and ends the test or test segment as directed.
  • Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.
  • Account for security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location.
  • Resolve testing session problems and/or issues.

Requirements

  • Conditions of employment: Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Employee must possess a valid driver’s license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.
  • May travel on temporary duty (TDY) up to 100% of the time.
  • Required to lift up to 30 lbs. (Transfer of controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.)

Qualifications

  • Who May Apply: US Citizens
  • Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, 1) Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups; 2) Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed; and 3) utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.

  • Educational Requirements: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

  • Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
