TES Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Property Management is seeking a TES Maintenance Mechanic to assist with Residence Hall Maintenance. This position requires a wide variety of both routine and non-routine assignments across multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Inspections of Residence Hall rooms
• Routine maintenance in Residence Halls including, but not limited to:
• Replacing Bulbs
• Replacing Ballasts
• Replacing Batteries
• Installing New Fixtures
• Mini Blind Replacement
• Basic Plumbing Repairs
• Furniture Repairs/Replacement
• Window Repairs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 19 years old to operate an AU vehicle

Requirements

• Frequent bending, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching below and above shoulders, and lifting heavy objects and equipment
• Wrist, hand, and finger dexterity is required to operate various equipment and materials
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions

Benefits

• Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour for 20 – 40 hours of work per week
• Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch)

• $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
