About the role
The Territory Service Manager (TSM) plays a crucial role in the operation of National Carwash Solutions, leading a team of field employees to provide preventive maintenance and repair services, manage schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of 12-15 field service technicians and chemical delivery specialists
- Manage scheduling and training of field service technicians and chemical delivery specialists
- Establish performance goals for designated team of technicians
- Coach and guide direct reports in delivering company expectations in safety compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Lead the team in providing operational and tactical solutions to ensure profitability
- Monitor and manage expenses, revenue, and margin targets
- Prepare and control operational budgets and inventory
- Communicate with customers and travel to assigned locations to promote good customer relations, ensure quality service, and secure contracts
- Resolve or escalate customer issues and internal/local concerns and complaints
- Conduct quality control checks, field audits, site safety audits, and damage claim assessments
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of field service experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing an electro-mechanical team
- Proven ability to train, organize, lead, and motivate a team to succeed
- Overnight travel may be required
- Strong business acumen including understanding of P&L, financials, and KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong electrical-mechanical skill set
- Strategic thinking and proven track record in problem-solving and analysis
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple customer needs and/or conflicting priorities
- Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is a plus
- Knowledge of carwash equipment is preferred
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors’ degree preferred.
