Responsibilities
- Congduct professional product presentations to current Retail customers
- Stimulate market growth through new distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry and c-store distributors in assigned geography
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Achieving sales goals and brand building presence and merchandising
- Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Aids customers with ordering information and configurations; provides quotations on customer requirements and provides appropriate follow up
- Utilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weekly
- Perform any other appropriately related duty as requested by the Sales Manager
- Be able to drive a company van (Ford Transit, Connect or similar) throughout the work day
- Manage cash and client product inventory
- Must have a valid driver’s license—noCDL necessary
- Able to follow navigation/directions, communicate, and solve customer challenges that might arise
Qualifications
- Be able to bend/stoop/squat/kneel throughout the workday
- Be able to push/pull/reach/twist throughout the workday
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Be able to push/pull weight up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts
- Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG)
- Must possess good problem-solving skills
- Must be able to use an iPad/Tablet
- Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar)
- Sales or consumer goods experience a plus
