About the role
The Territory Sales Representative – Southwest Territory is based within Southern California and covers California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Hawaii. This remote position reports to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth with our Dealers, Distributors, and Direct customers
- Build and maintain relationships with clients from initial contact through purchasing, installation, completion and follow-up with service after the sale
- Create new business and develop existing business in the territory (with distributors, contractors, architects, designers and end users)
- Ensure dealers and distribution partners achieve their full potential and have access to appropriate support
- Promote the products to the local installers, contractors, dealers and distributors
- Represent FieldTurf Landscape at National and Regional Trade Shows
- Forecast sales and manage territory budget
- Conduct market research and analysis related to client needs
- Develop and present new sales techniques and strategies to the team to drive revenue growth
- Travel, when necessary, by several modes of transportation. Overnight travel (Average 50%) by land and/or air
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience; preference in landscaping, manufacturing/ construction sales
- Experience in project tracking analysis tools & and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required). Proficiency in Spanish is an asset
- A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
