About the role
The Territory Sales Representative – Southwest Territory supports FieldTurf Landscape, a division of Tarkett Sports, a world leader in sports construction and surfacing. Based in Southern California, this remote position covers California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth with dealers, distributors, and direct customers
- Build and maintain relationships from initial contact through purchasing, installation, completion, and follow-up
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase sales
- Develop new business and expand existing business relationships with clients (distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and end users)
- Ensure dealers and distribution partners achieve their full potential and have access to appropriate support
- Promote FieldTurf Landscape products to local installers, contractors, dealers, and distributors
- Use project tracking analysis tools and CRM systems to represent FieldTurf Landscape at national and regional trade shows
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand client needs
- Develop and present new sales techniques and strategies to the team to drive revenue growth
- Travel, when necessary, by several modes of transportation (average 50% overnight travel)
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, manufacturing/construction sales
- Experience in project tracking analysis tools & CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required); proficiency in Spanish is an asset
- A bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
