Territory Sales Representative, Packaging & Industrial Supplies - NW Ohio/Michigan

The Cary Company is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to cover our Ohio and Michigan territory, promoting our container, packaging, and filtration product lines.

About the Role

This role involves managing a range of accounts in a dynamic and competitive market, offering a strong opportunity to contribute to our continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly sales calls and consistently close new business
• Ensure all accounts and prospects receive the attention and resources they need
• Learn our product lines and technologies
• Excel in quoting, upselling, and building strong customer relationships
• Maintain a positive attitude and manage multiple projects with ease
• Negotiate confidently and effectively
• Act as a proactive self-starter who seeks continuous improvement

Requirements

• Self-directed, detail-oriented mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• Sales experience and a knack for networking and lead generation
• College degree—or equivalent experience from the “school of hard knocks”
• Reside in Michigan

Pay

• Competitive Base Salary: $55,000-$70,000
• Performance-Based Incentives: Uncapped earning potential with commissions and bonuses tied to growth and retention
• High-Earning Opportunity: Top performers exceed over $135,000-$150,000 total compensation as territory matures
• Additional Rewards: Special incentives for new customer acquisition and hitting key milestones
