Responsibilities
- Developing relationships and growing sales with assigned distribution customers in your territory.
- Frequently contacting roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand.
- Presenting products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basis.
- Performing product knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers.
- Managing territory pricing based on competitive situations.
- Following up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely manner.
- Submitting weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely manner.
- Increasing the IKO market share in your territory.
- Attending meetings, functions, and company-provided training as required.
- Adhering to Health and Safety policies as well as IKO Vehicle policies.
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Three years of prior sales experience in the building products industry, with preference given to experience calling on roofing contractors, builders, and/or architects.
- Prior professional sales training experience is preferred.
- Ability to spend up to 50% of the time in a stationary position.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to complete tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Willingness to consider relocation for future opportunities is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
