Territory Sales Representative – Material Handling (Chicago Metro)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across the Chicago Metro territory
  • Expand and manage existing industrial customer accounts
  • Execute full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, pricing, and closing
  • Build relationships with manufacturing, logistics, and distribution customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams on system design and customer solutions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
  • Conduct regular field visits throughout the metro territory
  • Support regional trade shows and industry events

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience required
  • Experience in industrial, equipment, or technical sales strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to prospect and close new business
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Able to manage a large metro territory independently
  • Mechanical aptitude or technical exposure is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission
  • First-year earnings potential: $80,000–$120,000+
