The Territory Sales Representative is primarily responsible for providing sales, marketing, and general business support to ensure the growth of the North and South Carolina markets, including prospecting and developing new business. You will promote and develop product awareness by presenting to contractors, building owners, and consultants, walking roofs, and providing field evaluations of prospective projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a territory business plan to achieve the annual sales target; prepare reports on competitor activity in the market.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on assigned sales activity using SalesForce.
  • Work with existing contractor and distribution networks to promote and develop awareness of Henry’s comprehensive product line and ancillary products.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to present products to contractors, owners, and specifiers.
  • Apply knowledge of sales and marketing principles and techniques, including daily pipeline management in Salesforce.
  • Research and gather information on sales activity in the specified area.
  • Deliver formal presentations and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in sales/marketing within the building products industry, preferably in a distribution network environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education approved by Senior Management.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule, including variable and weekend work. Moderate travel to customers, owners, distributors, and job sites is required.
