Position Summary
JRP Energy is seeking a Sales Representative to generate new business and maintain customer relationships across assigned territories. This is a business-to-business (B2B) outside sales role focused on prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, customer presentations, and account growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients
- Develop and manage a defined sales territory to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Utilize business intelligence and customer data to support sales strategy and targeting
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive account growth and retention
- Manage existing accounts through ongoing communication, service, and cross-selling opportunities
- Transport and utilize product samples during customer visits when applicable
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery
- Represent JRP professionally in all customer interactions and market activities
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory required
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of outside B2B sales experience required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, CRM, spreadsheets)
- Strong customer-focused mindset with a results-driven approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment
- Competitive, hunter-style sales mentality
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Pay Range
$45,000 - $60,000 per hour
