Territory Sales Manager - Program Dealer Specialist - Chicago

The Specialist, Program Dealer reports to the Regional Sales Leader and must exhibit TireHub’s core attributes: Approachable, Adventurous, Relentless, and Speedy.
Responsibilities
- Achieves daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for assigned customers using multiple prospecting and sales tools.
- Gathers and records results of sales visits in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
- Prospects customers in assigned territory.
- Owns and accurately completes all administrative account enrollment activities for assigned accounts.
- Grows current and new assigned accounts using internal programming, pricing, and tools.
- Transitions assigned TireHub+ and non-program customers to manufacturer dealer programs.
- Collaborates with assigned Product Assortment Manager on inventory issues and to optimize local market inventory.
- Provides support for expansion or new market TLCs.
- Collaborates frequently with TLC staff, Pricing, Shareholder contacts, Operations, Credit, Accounts Receivable, and others.
- Coordinates sales efforts with the Customer Service Specialist under the direction of the Regional Sales Leader.
- Leverages interpersonal skills to drive consultative selling, determine customer needs, suggest solutions, and negotiate competitively.
Position is assigned approximately 200 accounts, with a minimum of quarterly visits required. Time allocation:
- 40% visiting dealers on a manufacturer program (top 50 accounts).
- 30% visiting non-program customers (bottom 150 accounts).
- 15% prospecting potential customers (unassigned leads).
- 15% administrative time (no more than 1 day per week).
Performance is measured by sales results, activities, administrative compliance, new program activations, customer growth, margin results, and other KPIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of total sales experience, including field and B2B sales, and establishing key customer relationships.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the Tire Industry or Wholesale Distribution preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and 3-5 years of driving experience.
- Home-based work with travel up to 70%, including frequent overnights.
Skills
- Fluency in tire manufacturer programs.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, tire manufacturer warranties, programs, and products.
- Experience with customer relationship management tools (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems (Prophet 21) and business intelligence tools (Power BI).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for market growth.

Pay
Salary range: $72,000 to $92,000.
