About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual for the position of Territory Sales Manager/Associate Territory Sales Manager on the Community Care Sales Team. This position is field-based and will focus on achieving sales goals within primary care, urology, and women’s health therapeutic areas in an assigned geographic territory. The title and salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Candidates who do not meet all qualifications may be considered for an Associate level role.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives by leading and implementing effective sales strategies in an ethical and compliant manner.
  • Demonstrate resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles to achieve objectives.
  • Develop and execute an effective business plan aligned with sales strategy to achieve results.
  • Prioritize and call on appropriate customers at optimal frequency to change prescribing behaviors.
  • Demonstrate effective pre-call planning to establish a clear purpose for sales calls.
  • Move customers along the adoption continuum by driving market share growth.
  • Engage in two-way dialogue with customers, employing selling skills to identify needs and actively listen.
  • Effectively utilize patient-type selling with approved messaging and resources.
  • Deploy a growth mindset daily, focusing on opportunities rather than limitations.
  • Analyze complex data to develop strategic and actionable business plans to deliver sales results.
  • Achieve and maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven, consistent track record of exceeding sales goals in assigned geography or relevant experience.
  • Success in all aspects of selling, including clinical expertise, selling skills, and in-depth understanding of the local ecosystem.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and effectively present scientific/technical details and marketing materials.
  • Proficient knowledge of the payer landscape, including commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with technology platforms and business software/hardware.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Life Sciences.
  • For Associate Territory Sales Manager: 0–3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience and/or relevant experience.
  • For Territory Sales Manager: 3–5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated mastery or aptitude to learn product and disease state knowledge.
  • Travel within territory is required, including car and overnight air travel depending on territory.
  • Periodic national travel to corporate headquarters, training, product theaters, and sales meetings.
  • Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours.
  • Extensive travel (60–80% of working time), including overnight stays as needed.
  • Mobility and stamina for frequent in-person visits to physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and trade shows.
  • Ability to manage independent, field-based work and adapt to variable meeting locations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (product samples, materials, and informational kits).

Pay

  • Associate Territory Sales Manager: Base salary range of $84,000.00 to $105,000.00.
  • Territory Sales Manager: Base salary range of $108,000.00 to $135,000.00.

Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes merit-based salary increases, short-term incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and paid leaves. Our time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, additional time off for a year-end shut-down, and 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and annually thereafter.
