Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Detroit, MI. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth and expand market share by identifying, pursuing, and winning business from competitive target accounts, new market opportunities, and existing customer relationships.
Essential Functions
- Create and execute business plan by conducting regular and balanced activities with assigned new, target, and existing accounts leading to sales development for meeting quota and product mix goals.
- Proactively develop client relationships, foster trust, and create meaningful engagements to win Haworth business.
- Remain current with economic, financial, social, and cultural news that impacts industry and customers.
- Network in assigned market and attend events, interacting with business leaders and influencers to identify prospective business.
- Cultivate strong dealer relationships to influence Haworth share of wallet.
- Educate dealers on campaigns, products, and incentives for increasing dealer revenue.
- Partner with dealers on leading with Haworth solutions, and lead negotiations for reaching acceptable, long-term client business relationships and profitable agreements for Haworth and our dealers.
- Effectively manage business plan and keep CRM information current on sales activities, ongoing strategy for sales development, and results for all assigned target and existing accounts, and new business opportunities.
- Manage expense budget and timely expense reporting adhering to established travel and entertainment guidelines.
- Travel up to 80% of time to meet clients, influencers, dealers, and attend meetings.
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Architecture, Interior Design, Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in consultative business-to-business, solution-based sales role with demonstrated track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets with a Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience partnering with dealerships and understanding their sales and operating procedures.
- Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience.
- Experience in real estate, project management or architecture & design.
