Summary
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing the Air Pollution Control (APC) market share in the Houston, TX area and surrounding territory. This is a Business-to-Business sales position targeting executives, directors, engineers, contractors, and end users in the industrial sector providing dust collection equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop business for air pollution equipment in the Houston, TX area and surrounding territory
- Develop rep/reseller, engineering firm, and installing contractor base relationships for higher levels of business potential
- Manage company provided leads
- System design, including coordination with manufacturers/vendors for system component selection and features
- Project management for turnkey sales and follow through for equipment sales
- On-site system commissioning and customer training
- Business to business sales opportunities only
- Interacts with customer base and work to build relationships with potential customers
- Provides support to resellers in territory made up of sales representatives, dealers, distributors, and original equipment manufacturers
- Interacts with other departments, working as a team to provide our customers with excellent service
Requirements
- Positive attitude, sense of urgency, competitive
- Excellent time management skills
- Good verbal/language skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Industrial Equipment sales experience (Filtration industry experience - a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Comfortable, friendly, and professional on the phone and in person
- Team-oriented self-starter who works well in fast-paced environment
- Design software experience (ex. CAD, SolidWorks, etc.) - a plus
