Summary

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing the Air Pollution Control (APC) market share in the Houston, TX area and surrounding territory. This is a Business-to-Business sales position targeting executives, directors, engineers, contractors, and end users in the industrial sector providing dust collection equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business for air pollution equipment in the Houston, TX area and surrounding territory
  • Develop rep/reseller, engineering firm, and installing contractor base relationships for higher levels of business potential
  • Manage company provided leads
  • System design, including coordination with manufacturers/vendors for system component selection and features
  • Project management for turnkey sales and follow through for equipment sales
  • On-site system commissioning and customer training
  • Business to business sales opportunities only
  • Interacts with customer base and work to build relationships with potential customers
  • Provides support to resellers in territory made up of sales representatives, dealers, distributors, and original equipment manufacturers
  • Interacts with other departments, working as a team to provide our customers with excellent service

Requirements

  • Good verbal/language skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Industrial Equipment sales experience (Filtration industry experience - a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable, friendly, and professional on the phone and in person
  • Team-oriented self-starter who works well in fast-paced environment
  • Design software experience (ex. CAD, SolidWorks, etc.) - a plus
