About the role

The TAVI Territory Manager is responsible for ensuring the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales and clinical objectives of the Structural Heart TAVI division. This role coordinates daily territory activities with Clinical Sales Specialists and the regional Clinical Lead Specialist, develops and implements customer-focused sales and clinical strategies, and scrubs in sterile to provide valve loading and case support for TAVI procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Identify account opportunities and achieve quarterly sales objectives and goals in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to develop and implement customer-focused sales and clinical strategies.
  • Develop and execute actionable sales and account plans using clinical, sales, and data analytics.
  • Manage the sales process using SFDC program and additional sales tools.
  • Complete field training program to become authorized to support cases solo and designate as an Abbott proctor delegate.
  • Evaluate patient anatomy and valve sizing for customers using CT program (Pie Medical 3 Mensio) and provide sizing reports.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, trade shows, educational conferences, and webinars.
  • Provide in-services and onsite training for proper use of Abbott products.
  • Maintain clinical expertise by attending company product training sessions as requested.
  • Forecast, execute on a quarterly plan of action, and manage account consignment.
  • Complete vendor credentialing process for hospital access as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' cardiovascular sales experience, 3+ years of which are Structural Heart, TEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, or endovascular.
  • Or, TAVI/Transcatheter valve industry case support experience of 100+ cases.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency and understanding of severe aortic stenosis disease state.
  • Strong clinical acumen, proven sales performance, organization, communication, and process skills.
  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Skills

  • Strong clinical acumen and understanding of severe aortic stenosis disease state.
  • Proven sales performance and organizational, communication, and process skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments within hospitals to facilitate future sales.
  • Experience with multiple imaging modalities including angiography, TTE, TEE, and CT, and interpretation of ECG and hemodynamics.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with SFDC program and additional sales tools.
  • Ability to scrub in sterile and provide valve loading and case support for TAVI procedures.
  • Ability to evaluate patient anatomy and valve sizing for customers using CT program (Pie Medical 3 Mensio).
  • Ability to develop customer relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders within hospitals.
  • Ability to complete vendor credentialing process for hospital access as required.

Pay

$78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

This position may travel more than 50% depending on staffing and regional demands.
