About the role

As the leading provider of virtual fencing technology, Halter is on a mission to enable 50% of the world’s landmass to be more productive and sustainable. This role is paramount for our growth aspirations and will enable us to continue making an impact on ranches across the US.

You will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter’s on-the-ground representative.

  • Proactively drive new business growth through outbound lead generation efforts and field activities.
  • Expand existing customer relationships and increase value over time.
  • Hit high-growth sales targets without second-guessing unqualified leads.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide support throughout the onboarding and deployment process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and drive solutions.
  • Attend industry events to generate leads and deepen relationships with existing customers.
  • Contribute to the US sales strategy and work with the broader team to optimize and evolve the sales process.

Requirements

  • Experience in ranching or cattle operations.
  • Strong background in creating new business opportunities and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience managing a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
  • Resourceful problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within your territory.
