About Botanix

Botanix is an ASX-listed dermatology company based in Philadelphia and Phoenix. The Company recently launched its first product, Sofdra™ (sofpironium) topical gel, 12.45%, which received FDA approval in June 2024. Sofdra™ is the first and only new chemical entity approved for treatment of primary axillary hyperhidrosis, a medical condition where excessive sweating occurs beyond what is needed to maintain body temperature. Hyperhidrosis is the third largest dermatology condition, impacting the lives of more than 16 million people in the U.S. The broader clinical pipeline targets unmet needs in dermatology. Botanix has attracted a world-class management team who is actively evolving the pharmaceutical model to optimize patient access for Sofdra™ and future product introductions.

Overview

We are hiring a Territory Manager (TM) responsible for promoting Botanix’s product(s). We seek individuals with a consistent pattern of achievement, accountability, and commitment to success, demonstrated through leadership, professional accomplishments, athletics, extracurricular activities, community involvement, work experience, or other endeavors reflecting strong work ethic, resilience, competitiveness, and drive to excel. The TM will execute highly targeted commercial strategies to drive market development, managed care pull-through, and achieve all objectives and goals. The TM will collaborate with customers and Botanix stakeholders to ensure exceptional follow-through and patient access to this much-needed treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing strategies and leverage resources effectively to maximize impact and achieve all objectives and goals.
  • Influence customers within assigned geography and accounts to support the use of Botanix’s product(s) in the treatment of indicated disease states by developing and applying clinical knowledge, strong selling skills, and business expertise.
  • Develop and implement strategic and dynamic business plans that address unique market needs and enhance results.
  • Build customer loyalty by identifying and cultivating relationships with key customer stakeholders who can influence decision-making within accounts.
  • Develop a strong understanding and awareness of the patient journey to best support customer understanding and needs, ensuring a great patient experience.
  • Establish a strong understanding of the local reimbursement and payor environment and effectively educate customers on patient support information and services to ensure patient access to Botanix’s product(s).
  • Work collaboratively with teammates and the internal Botanix team by gathering, analyzing, and providing regular updates around market data, customer feedback, and competitor insights to help shape strategy.
  • Act compliantly in accordance with all company and industry guidelines.
  • Successfully and actively participate in all sales training and sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • 1+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales required; medical dermatology experience preferred.
  • Experience educating and assisting office staff with patient access to product(s), including prior authorization process, preferred.
  • Previous product launch experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and relationships quickly.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding expectations and/or sales goals.
  • Strong learning agility with the ability to absorb, apply, and communicate complex information.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of execution and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and territory planning skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned geography.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; may also be required to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in use of CRM software and Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Pay

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills. This role may be eligible to participate in Botanix’s attractive stock program, subject to the terms and conditions established by the company.
