Role Summary
Territory Sales Manager – Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan
Sofo Foods is one of the largest wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the United States. We are seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to lead our Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan area sales team, grow restaurant accounts, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Toledo area sales team through coaching, performance management, and training
Drive new business by prospecting, cold calling, and opening new restaurant accounts
Create and execute territory business plans aligned with customer needs and company objectives
Met and exceed sales goals and KPIs consistently
Support customer service efforts and ensure high levels of account retention and satisfaction
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and distribution teams to deliver seamless service
Required Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in foodservice sales with a focus on repeat customers
Track record of prospecting and opening new accounts
Supervisory experience managing and motivating a sales team
Strong analytical skills to develop and execute business plans and drive sales growth
Excellent organizational and time management skills and self-motivation to meet targets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, charismatic approach to relationship building
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling ethnic or specialty food products
Familiarity with CRM systems and route management tools
Prior success in territory planning and forecasting
