About the Role
The Interventional Urology Territory Manager is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through selling activities which include cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, clinical consultations, driving market share, and sales growth. The Territory Manager will target Urology customers by selling and servicing Coloplast’s Stress Urinary Incontinence device.
Responsibilities
- Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop/execute a strategic plan to achieve territory sales objectives.
- Analyze key sales and marketing data to determine the best opportunities in the territory.
- Understand the customer’s environment, including clinical, financial, and key decision makers, their challenges, and opportunities for Coloplast.
- Ensure timely advancement of the sales process with all targeted accounts to meet or exceed business and marketing targets.
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial business models and conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- Use consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy and present value propositions, including financial and clinical impact.
- Plan daily call routines and account penetration to maximize coverage of key accounts.
- Utilize available tools (e.g., marketing directives, sales reports, education materials, national contracts) to drive sales growth.
- Monitor competitive activity and sales volume in each targeted account.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships to increase product usage within target accounts.
- Educate and train physicians, surgeons, and hospital personnel on Coloplast products.
- Leverage clinical knowledge to educate peers on product categories and market trends.
- Attend industry-related training, meetings, and events for business development.
- Interact frequently with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, procurement, and administrative staff.
- Assist during procedures and surgeries as requested, adhering to operating room protocols.
- Conform with all healthcare facility and operating room compliance standards.
- Organize and manage information using CRM tools, including sales reporting, forecasting, inventory, and expense management.
- Support surgeon implanters with VAC document submission.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including the AdvaMed Code of Ethics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ year of successful medical experience, preferably in medical device marketing, sales, or service.
- Ability to be on time and prepared for each case deployed.
- Willingness to travel domestically and overnight (up to 50%).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements for in-person customer interactions.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $190,000. Actual compensation is influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
