About the role
Territory Manager, Chicago
THE DETAILS:
- Manage and Expand Key Accounts: Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and other healthcare providers. Work with current customers to deepen their use of Intellijoint products, provide expert guidance and training ensuring continued customer satisfaction.
- Train Surgeons and OR Staff: Deliver top-notch training to surgeons, nurses, and OR staff, making sure everyone knows how to use our tech safely, effectively and independently. Provide support during select surgical cases and work with distributors or independent reps to keep clinical activities running smoothly.
- Lead & Launch New Business Generation: Lead complex sales activities involving multiple decision-makers, generate leads, do product demos, work with legal teams to finalize contracts, onboard new accounts and their surgical teams, and ensure long-term satisfaction post-sale.
- Distribution Partners Support: Build strong relationships with our distribution partners. Hold quarterly strategy meetings and after-action reviews to make sure we’re all aligned and constantly improving.
- Stay Accountable: Keep the lines of communication open. Report back to the Regional Sales Manager and your peers on new business pipeline projections and utilization using our CRM tools.
- Drive Product Improvements: Collaborate with our Product Specialist team to bring back customer feedback and spot new opportunities for growth.
- Handle Inventory & Logistics: Ensure equipment and assets are where they need to be. This includes delivering trays and consumables to facilities and helping with system updates and setups.
Responsibilities
- Meet (and exceed) your goals every quarter.
- The number of hospitals and systems using Intellijoint has increased.
- You have deepened the relationships with existing key accounts.
- Surgeons, Nurses, and OR staff are trained and knowledgeable to use our tech safely and effectively.
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of documented sales success in the medical device, medical technology, or orthopedics sector.
- Or 8+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding targets within a technical field.
- A solid understanding of anatomy is a big plus!
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to a vehicle.
- A passport for occasional travel between the U.S. and Canada.
Skills
- Frequent two-handed lifting of up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately the same level.
- Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day.
- Able to wear 7-9 lbs of lead for extended periods while in the Operating Room.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer.
- Able to navigate tight spaces within an Operating Room.

Pay
$75k - $95k base + commission + bonuses
