About the Role

As a Territory Manager within the Regen Business Unit, you will be responsible for establishing and achieving sales volume and reimbursable revenue goals for your assigned territory. You will expand the sales of Enovis products, convert competitive products, and leverage the Company’s value-added services to develop, expand, and convert customers. This role plays an integral part in driving the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned Company sales goals and objectives through sales to designated accounts.
  • Cultivate customer relationships by initiating contact with physicians, clinic staff, and other device users.
  • Understand industry trends and the Company’s market position.
  • Provide product education on technical and clinical aspects of products to customers, prospective customers, and patients.
  • Assist with equipment delivery, set-up, follow-up, and service as needed.
  • May assist with measuring, fitting, and troubleshooting Enovis products, including custom braces.
  • Support a referral network of key professionals and educate referrals on Enovis CMF products.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute local educational and sales events to augment business and deliver sales goals.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet and exceed financial, market, and product portfolio goals for your territory.
  • Utilize SalesForce to maintain up-to-date contacts, opportunities, targets, and outcomes.
  • Maintain a funnel for sustained opportunities and strategic call plans to drive sales results.
  • Schedule and prioritize time for effective territory coverage and customer service.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities while managing leads effectively.
  • Perform region penetration coverage and account identification to increase the customer base.
  • Pre-plan sales calls and manage time efficiently to maximize customer contact.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships to achieve account objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by responding to needs and concerns promptly.
  • Proactively cultivate competitive opportunities and defend against competitive threats.
  • Identify underlying problems affecting performance, such as market conditions or competitor actions.
  • Provide presentations and demonstrations on the application and use of Enovis products.
  • Demonstrate efficient use of company resources, including time, money, materials, and people.
  • Leverage Sales Education and Marketing Department resources strategically.
  • Accurately complete and submit paperwork required for reimbursable sales.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Enovis Compliance & Ethics Program, Code of Conduct, and all applicable regulations.
  • Treat Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues and adhere to guidelines.
  • May assist in the training and development of Sales Associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Orthopedic Sales and knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in medical sales strongly preferred.
  • Experience calling on hospitals preferred.
  • Experience working with distributors preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Requires occasional air travel.
  • Considerable time spent traveling in a car to customer accounts.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is field-based, primarily in physician’s offices, hospitals, and clinics. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear.
  • Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Office desk work requires sitting, walking, using phone, and computer.
