RemoteRemoteSales$70k–$80k/yrFull-time

About the role

Dp Derm is seeking a results-driven Territory Account Executive to own and grow a defined sales territory through new business development and long-term account expansion. This is a remote, field-based role requiring regular travel within the assigned region to engage medspas, dermatology clinics, and aesthetic practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
    • Generate your own leads daily through outbound prospecting rather than relying on inbound leads
    • Cold call clinics by phone to open new conversations and book meetings and demos
    • Conduct cold drop-ins and in-person visits to local medspas, dermatology clinics, and aesthetic practices
    • Build and run a consistent prospecting cadence across phone, field, and follow-up
    • Be comfortable opening doors with no prior relationship, both on the phone and face-to-face
  • Territory Ownership & New Business Development
    • Own and build a defined territory through outbound prospecting, in-person visits, and strategic follow-up
    • Sell the Dermapen 4 microneedling device and associated skincare solutions
    • Consistently achieve a minimum of $40,000 in monthly revenue, with expectations to grow beyond baseline quota
    • Full cycle sales execution
      • Possess the ability to prospect and open new accounts through cold outreach and field activity
      • Conduct in-person demos and clinical conversations with providers and practice owners
      • Close new device sales and transition accounts into long-term partnerships
    • Account Management & Revenue Expansion
      • Grow existing accounts through consumables, skincare, and new product launches
      • Identify opportunities to expand treatment protocols and increase clinic revenue
      • Drive recurring revenue through ongoing engagement and strategic recommendations
    • Client Partnership & Brand Representation
      • Serve as a trusted advisor to clinics, not just a vendor
      • Education clients on products, treatment protocols, and best practices
      • Attend local industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
      • Represent Dp Derm with professionalism and clinical credibility in the field
    • Technical Support & Device Troubleshooting
      • You are the first line of defense when a client has a device issue
      • Technological savvy is essential and non-negotiable in this role
      • Provide first-level troubleshooting for the Dermapen 4 device, both in person and remotely, covering setup, charging, calibration, error messages, and day-to-day operation
      • Walk clients through resolution steps clearly and patiently so they can get back to treating with minimal downtime
      • Recognize when an issue is beyond frontline scope and escalate it promptly to our customer support team, then manage the handoff so the client stays supported from start to finish
      • Maintain current, working knowledge of device functionality, software updates, and known issues
      • Proactively coach clients on proper device use and maintenance to prevent recurring problems
    • Operational Excellence
      • Maintain accurate and timely CRM activity in HubSpot
      • Log all client interactions, pipeline stages, and deal updates
      • Collaborate cross-functionally to support territory growth and customer success

    Required Experience & Competencies

    • 2 to 3+ years of B2B field sales experience required (Medical device, aesthetics, skincare, or pharma experience strongly preferred)
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Willingness to travel regularly and work occasional weekends
    • Proven ability to build a territory through outbound prospecting
    • Strong new business development background
    • Genuinely comfortable cold calling by phone and doing cold drop-ins in the field. This is a prospecting heavy role and self-sourced lead generation is expected
    • Experience managing accounts post-sale, including upselling and cross-selling
    • Comfortable leading in-person demos and clinical conversations
    • Confident discussing value, outcomes, and ROI with business owners
    • High technological savvy is required and non-negotiable. You must be comfortable learning, operating, and troubleshooting electronic medical devices and their software, and able to stay calm and methodical while diagnosing issues in a clinical setting
    • Highly organized with strong time management and travel planning skills
    • Experience using CRM tools, HubSpot preferred
    • Self-motivated, competitive, and accountable in fast-paced environments

    Not a Fit

    • If you are primarily customer service, support, or account management focused
    • Rely on inbound leads only
    • Expect leads to be generated or provided for you
    • Are uncomfortable prospecting or opening new doors
    • Are uncomfortable cold calling by phone or doing cold drop-ins on clinics
    • Are uncomfortable with technology, or get frustrated learning and troubleshooting electronic devices
    • Need daily structure or close supervision to perform
    • Have limited experience carrying a quota in the field
